The HRO Benefits Financial Analyst is responsible for the day to day administration of client team financial forecasting, revenue recognition, and assurance of proper fee submissions. This associate is charged with working directly with other analysts, managers, and leadership to ensure accurate financial administration while adhering to established financial policies. The primary focus of this role is to manage client level revenue and expense forecasting as well as to prepare financial reporting. The person in this role will be also responsible for enhancements to and automation of financial tools and processes. This role typically reports to a Lead Benefits Project Manager.

The primary focus (80%) of the role will be financial analysis / administration, which consists of:
1. Client Financial Management: be a point of coordination for all financial aspects related to the clients in the aligned practice.
2. Revenue Recognition: ensures that client teams obtain sufficient documentation, appropriately track time against budget, and for reviewing fee submissions.
3. Invoice Preparation Review: reviews invoices prepared for accuracy and ensures appropriate explanations of line items as directed by client team project leads.
4. Financial Resource: serve as a resource for any questions or concerns related to Hewitt's financial policies, processes and procedures to their aligned client teams.

Other responsibilities (20%) include:
1. Enhancing financial tools and processes using MS Excel as well as other financial applications.
2. Owning project deliverables to support successful financial projects.

Qualifications Qualifications

Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field
Minimum 1-3+ years of financial or analytical work experience
History of strong performance, attention to detail, and technical aptitude

•Strong partnering and communication skills (written and verbal)
•Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Programs (advanced Excel skills preferred)
•Ability to use sound business judgment and make decisions
