Charlotte Business Professionals Member Speaker Series

Charlotte, NC –The Charlotte Business Professionals (CBP) announced a new speaker series that will feature members sharing their knowledge with other members. The Member Speaker Series kicks off April 21, 2010 with a timely session on interviewing techniques titled “In Search of a Great Fit”; the session will be presented by Denise Cooper, President of CoachHR.
“While our monthly networking meetings are a great way to meet fellow business professionals,” says Charlotte Business Professionals founder Jason Mckinstry, “we have had numerous requests from members to address “hot” topics in a more in-depth format. This new series is designed to allow our members to share their industry knowledge with others in the group.”
Cooper, who joined the group in 2009 and sits on the CBP Board, adds, “I am really excited to be able to offer tips to aid fellow professionals. The rules for managing your career are changing for everyone. Fit is the unspoken skill that managers are looking for. Yet many people don’t understand how fit is used to make promotional decisions.”
The Member Speaker Series event “In Search of a Great Fit” will be held April 21, 2010 from 5:30-7pm at the offices of ProNet Professional Career Center, 525 Tryon Street, 2nd floor.
